Friday…..

and we headed for Patterson Lakes. Unfortunately the phone directions did not work properly on DD2’s phone and we sort of went the wrong way. But youth to the rescue and the almost 15 year old got us on the right track again with her phone and all was well.

First up was a coffee at the shopping centre, and then we were treated to a pedicure in the massage chair and a manicure. I have to say that it is the first time in my 61 years that I have ever had either of these treatments. Thankyou Susanne for your thoughtfulness.

Next stop was to pick up everything from the house to take out to the Yarra Valley for the wedding. There were 3 cars packed to the hilt with the guys suits, all their personal luggage, all the table decorations etc to go to the reception venue, and last but not least the wedding dress!

And once again, we followed the leader, with the soon to be married couple leading us. They left the house as Mr and Miss, and returned on Monday as Mr and Mrs. They are off on a honeymoon tomorrow for a couple of weeks and back home for Christmas.

We delivered gear to Stones Winery, the venue for the wedding, the guys things to the house they were staying in, and then to Willow House where the bride was staying, and we were to get ready at tomorrow. It was a beautiful place, and these photos are in the back yard.

That evening was a dinner at the Healesville Hotel and a catch up with all the rellies arriving in town for the wedding.
