September quilting

Another pre-scheduled posting to catch up on quilt photos, which I don’t seem to have shown.

Kaths’s tulip quilt, edge to edge quilting in the centre, crosshatch the border and SID and background fill the applique section.

And this was a first quilt made by Jeanette, on a weekend retreat, during which a “bit” of bubbly was consumed, so it was quilted with glasses of bubbly panto!

A BOM made by Mary, called Bronte’s Garden, available at Quilters Harvest, at Warracknabeal in Victoria.

A scrap quilt made by Mignon, quilted with a P2P triangle pattern, which gave it a semi custom look, while still being quick.

A nativity scene wall hanging made by Teresa, with borders added, and quilted with crosshatching in the panel and separate borders.

Bye for now, hope you are enjoying your weekend, whatever you are doing. In South Australia, it is a long weekend, with holiday on Monday, and I think it’s for labour day?? And I will be labouring, getting through some quilts for our exhibition.

Blessings, From Jude

Lovely quilts, I especially love the feathering in the first quilt. (In the pillow sham area). The garden quilt looks lovely too. Isn't it nice to see all these quilts finished.

They are all so lovely, Judy. You do such a great job. Yes it is labour day for you and NSW, but not here in Vic. Enjoy.

Nice quilting. Think it was time I popped up to Warracknabeal on my next trip home, Mum keeps telling me they have such nice things!
